But look closely and you will be able to see them.

Coping Our psychological wounds can make us put on a mask to hide them and face the world. It is a coping mechanism to protect ourselves. But if you look closely enough you can see through it.
Dissociation When trauma taints our lives, after a while we can disconnect from reality or from our bodies and emotions to protect ourselves.
Fear. Signaling something's terribly wrong, fear can paralyze us easily. It doesn't always show on the outside, but our bodies can be in shock when something is scaring us. Many of our anxieties come from things and situations that scare us, causing us great stress.
